    In 2003, Enia was founded by Mathieu Chazelle, architect and engineer, Simon Pallubicki, architect and cabinetmaker, and Brice Piechaczyk, architect and engineer – all of whom are professors.

    Based in France and India, Enia is above all a collective: a team of 90 professionals from around the world currently leading a wide range of projects of new constructions and transformations of the built environment.

    At its core, Enia's systematic approach remains proven time and again. It is determined to be at the forefront of design sensibility, technology, and ingenuity to produce sustainable architecture - that lasts.

    Projects include university campuses, hospitals, business headquarters, or research centers, but also Housing, Cultural Spaces, Restaurants...

    Embracing complexity, we navigate enthusiastically between program, scale, and culture.
    We are committed to clearly expressing the singularity of each of its projects and creating the conditions through which they can evolve.

    Enia has always adopted a forward-looking attitude inspired by its research activities. Its own research facility, eniaLAB, provides the studio an additional space for reflection, experimentation, and innovation, as well as serving as a platform to initiate dialogue with numerous collaborators such as the Institute for Land Transition whose research is co-chaired by Enia architects since 2023.

    Enia est une agence d’architecture créée en 2003 par Mathieu Chazelle, architecte et ingénieur, Simon Pallubicki, architecte et ébéniste, et Brice Piechaczyk, architecte et ingénieur, également tous
    trois enseignants.

    Présente en France et en Inde, elle est avant tout un collectif. 110 passionnés de 32 nationalités et aux profils variés qui, en Europe, en Afrique et en Asie, réalisent en transversalité une grande diversité de projets.

    Et toujours le même dessein : répondre avec acuité et ingéniosité aux grands enjeux du présent, sans jamais négliger l’avant ; dans le souci constant d’un récit poétique et engageant.

    Campus universitaires, centres hospitaliers, sièges sociaux, centres de recherche, ou centres technologiques, mais également logements, espaces culturels, ou restaurants...

    Nous embrassons volontiers la complexité et naviguons avec allant entre les contextes, les programmes et les échelles.
    Nous nous employons à exprimer pleinement la singularité de chacun de nos projets, tout en créant les conditions de leur évolution.

    Une attitude prospective renforcée par l’activité de recherche que conduit l’agence depuis sa création, à travers son laboratoire interne eniaLAB.
    Espace ouvert de réflexion, d’expérimentation et d’innovation, il engage en outre de nombreuses collaborations, comme avec l’Institut de la Transition Foncière, dont enia co-pilote, depuis 2023, la chaire.
