Le RSMA est un dispositif militaire qui a pour objectif l'insertion socioprofessionnelle de jeunes diplômés ou non dans des domaines d'emploi utiles pour le territoire guyanais.
Le RSMA propose une formation globale.
C'est tout d'abord une formation professionnelle avec 23 filières différentes.
Mais le RSMA c'est aussi :
- un environnement social sécurisant : les jeunes sont nourris, logés, blanchis et rémunérés ;
- un dispositif accessible à tous les jeunes de 18 à 25 ans, peu importe leur milieu social et leur niveau d'éducation grâce au renforcement ou l'acquisition des savoirs de base en français, mathématique et numérique);
- l'acquisition d'un savoir-être recherché par les entreprises, grâce à un encadrement militaire et la transmission de valeurs fortes (tenue, horaires, respect, sécurité, cohésion...);
- l'opportunité de développer son employabilité à travers d'autres formations (permis de conduire, secours et sécurité au travail, CACES...)
