The Childhood Group of the Humanitarian and Development Coordination brings together 18 NGOs committed to defending children's rights internationally. Brought together since 2014, these organizations share the conviction that constant and sustained attention to children and their rights is a powerful lever to initiate a virtuous circle towards achieving sustainable development goals and peace.
Mobilizing the resources and expertise of its members, the Childhood Group is committed to three missions:
- INFLUENCE political decision-makers through targeted advocacy actions, defined according to the national and international agenda, for the effective realization of children's rights;
- STRENGTHEN THE CAPACITIES of international solidarity actors through regular exchanges of practices to improve the implementation of the rights-based approach;
- RAISE AWARENESS AND MOBILIZE the general public to the realization of children's rights, in particular on the occasion of the International Children's Rights Day (November 20) by organizing a collective event entitled "Objectif Enfance".

Mobilisons-nous pour les droits de l'enfant dans le monde
Le Groupe Enfance de la Coordination Humanitaire et Développement rassemble 18 ONG engagées dans la défense des droits de l’enfant à l’international. Réunies depuis 2014, ces organisations partagent la conviction qu’une attention constante et soutenue aux enfants et à leurs droits constitue un levier puissant pour amorcer un cercle vertueux vers l’atteinte des objectifs de développement durable et la paix.
Mobilisant les ressources et les expertises de ses membres, le Groupe Enfance est engagé dans trois missions :
- INFLUENCER les décideurs politiques via des actions de plaidoyer ciblées, définies en fonction de l’agenda national et international, pour une réalisation effective des droits de l’enfant ;
- RENFORCER LES CAPACITES des acteurs de la solidarité internationale par le biais d’échanges de pratiques réguliers pour améliorer la mise en œuvre de l’approche par les droits ;
- SENSIBILISER ET MOBILISER le grand public à la réalisation des droits de l’enfant, en particulier à l’occasion de la journée internationale des Droits de l’Enfant (20 novembre) en organisant un événement collectif intitulé « Objectif Enfance ».
