Recycling Farm and Food Waste to Renewable Energy and Fertilizer through Anaerobic Digestion.

Renergy diverts food waste from landfills and beneficially re-uses them in a way that positively impacts our environment. Our closed-loop system recycles waste into energy and nutrients through anaerobic digestion.

Anaerobic digestion is a natural process in which organic waste materials are broken down by microorganisms in the absence of oxygen. There are two byproducts of anaerobic digestion: biogas that is captured and converted into renewable energy, and a nutrient-rich fertilizer.

By partnering with food manufacturers and farmers, we are able to recycle waste - that would otherwise go to the landfill - into a resource.

Renergy is committed to reduce food waste by utilizing it as a sustainable resource that improves the environment and decreases the need to deplete natural resources.
