La Federación de Cooperativas Agrarias de la Región de Murcia (FECOAM), constituida el 29 de Agosto de 1985, agrupa en su seno a 75 entidades agrarias de comercialización de la región, que asocian a su vez a cerca de 22.000 agricultores y ganaderos, generando más de 45.000 puestos de trabajo.
El principal objetivo de Fecoam es proporcionar un asesoramiento integral al cooperativista agrario de la Región de Murcia y por extensión, al resto de personas, entidades o instituciones que demanden los servicios de la federación.
Así, se busca favorecer los intereses de las cooperativas agrarias y de sus socios, apoyar y asesorar en la mejora de la gestión de las organizaciones, garantizar la seguridad y salud de todos los trabajadores y desarrollar una acción permanente para aumentar los niveles de protección existentes.
Además, Fecoam ofrece una formación continuada a empleados, socios y clientes y adopta prácticas de gestión, basadas en la transparencia empresarial y la confianza mutua con los socios y clientes, desarrollando un marco favorable de relaciones laborales basados en la igualdad de oportunidades, la no discriminación y el respeto a la diversidad, promoviendo un entorno seguro y saludable, facilitando la comunicación con todo el equipo humano.
