Redefine productivity with metal 3D printing, welding, robotics and software to create certified products sustainably.

AML3D, established in 2014 and listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in 2020, is the original equipment manufacturer of ARCEMY® industrial metal 3D printers. Using a patented Wire Additive Manufacturing process (WAM®) and proprietary software WAMSoft® and AMLSoftTM, ARCEMY® provides Aerospace, Defence, Manufacturing, Maritime and Oil and Gas industries and their suppliers with a manufacturing solution that is capable of metal 3D printing parts stronger, faster and greener than traditional methods.

ARCEMY® is one of the largest commercially available open-air metal 3D printers available to the market, providing a solution for the manufacture of medium to large-scale and exotic metal components. The industrial 3D printing system provides endless part manufacturing capability and can be configured to suit specific manufacturing requirements.

    ARCEMY® and WAM® capabilities include:
    • Manufacturing Aluminium products up to 2 x stronger than designed working load.
    • Up to 30% stronger than traditionally cast or forged steel parts.
    • Nickel Aluminium Bronze products present 2 x ductility compared to wrought equivalents.
    • Up to 50% more resistant fatigue resistance.
    • Manufacture with a proven, certified additive manufacturing process
    • Manufacture up to 75% faster than forging or casting without tooling investments.
    • Up to 95% material waste saving when compared to billet machining.
    • As-deposited (welded) finish does not require post-weld heat treatment
    • Locally sourced wire feedstock and ARCEMY® print systems allow for on-site manufacture.
    • Large selection of materials, including titanium, a variety of aluminium, steels, duplex, super duplex, nickel and copper alloys.
    • Optimise parts to reduce weight and minimise assembly and machining time.
    • Encourages just-in-time and near point-of-need manufacture.
    • Produce parts from 200 mm3 in Titanium and 400 mm3 in a range of steel, super duplex, copper, nickel and aluminium alloys.
