Les bases fondatrices de l’engagement de l’AMADE en faveur de l’enfance sont la Convention Internationale des Droits des Enfants (CIDE) adoptée par les Nations Unies en 1989, ainsi que les Objectifs de Développement Durables adoptés en 2015 par la communauté internationale en vue de lutter contre la pauvreté.
L’AMADE contribue à la mise en œuvre de ces engagements en se fixant pour missions de :
- Protéger les enfants les plus vulnérables contre la violence, l’exploitation et l’abus.
- Favoriser l’épanouissement des enfants en contribuant à l’accès à l’éducation et à la santé.
- Accompagner le changement en menant des actions de plaidoyer.
