Fondé en 1935, le SIGERly, syndicat de gestion des énergies de la région lyonnaise, regroupe la Métropole de Lyon et 65 communes dont 8 communes du département du Rhône.
Organisé en syndicat mixte ouvert, le SIGERLy assure une mission de service public centrée sur la gestion raisonnée des énergies (bâtiments communaux, éclairage public), la qualité de la distribution d’énergies (électricité et gaz), l’aménagement durable cohérent et sécuritaire du territoire (effacement des réseaux) ainsi que le développement des énergies renouvelables (solaire, bois).
Au service des communes adhérentes et des usagers de son territoire, le SIGERLy œuvre au quotidien pour un aménagement énergétique durable, équitable et cohérent du territoire.
