LAMIH has a leading role in research concerning Humans in engineering and systems with a recognized identity on the themes: Transport and Safety, Mobility and Disability. This position is strategic within the UPHF, the territory (active participation in the development of the TRANSALLEY Technopole), the PIA tools (participation in the IDEX "Université de Lille" as a partner of the group, involvement in the IRT RAILENIUM), the region (management of the ELSAT 2020 project selected as part of the CPER for €10.15 million).
LAMIH covers the entire Transport and Safety, Mobility and Disability chain, from theoretical and methodological research aspects (low TRL) to innovation including the creation of start-ups and through research supported by major industrial groups but also by SMEs (medium/high TRL). It also relies on a large number of experimental platforms, sometimes unique in France, which are an essential asset for carrying out quality scientific activities.Original language

Le LAMIH a une place prépondérante dans les recherches qui concernent l’Humain dans l’ingénierie et les systèmes avec une identité reconnue sur les thématiques : Transport et Sécurité, Mobilité et Handicap. Cette place est stratégique au sein de l’UPHF, du territoire (participation active au développement de la Technopole TRANSALLEY), des outils du PIA (participation à l’IDEX « Université de Lille » en tant que partenaire du groupement, implication dans l’IRT RAILENIUM), de la région (pilotage du projet ELSAT 2020 retenu dans le cadre du CPER à hauteur de 10,15 M€).
Le LAMIH couvre toute la chaîne Transport et Sécurité, Mobilité et Handicap, des aspects de recherche théorique et méthodologique (TRL bas) jusqu’à l’innovation incluant la création de start-up et en passant par des recherches s’appuyant des groupes industriels majeurs mais aussi sur des PME (TRL moyen/élevé). Il s’appuie de plus sur de très nombreuses plateformes expérimentales parfois uniques en France qui sont un atout indispensable pour mener des activités scientifiques de qualité.
