Green Spot Technologies (GST) is leveraging solid state fermentation and upcycling to reinvent food ingredient solutions.
1/ Ferment'Up cocoa ingredients alternative solution range of powders for reducing cost and environmental footprint at once
2/ Ferment'Up tomato to sauce manufacturer for decreasing cost and optimising texture in their recipe with 100% of the tomato
The company was initially founded in New Zealand following the PhD thesis of Dr. Ninna Granucci. In 2018, after a successful fundraising round, the company relocated to France, where both the country and the European Union provide ideal conditions for its growth.
Currently, the team comprises over 23 members with expertise spanning microbiology, biochemistry, food science, process engineering, and business development. Green Spot commercial team is located in Toulouse and the production facility of the ingredients is at the industrial demonstrator in Carpentras. On top both commercial and industrial teams are supported by our formulation and biotech team in Toulouse. The company collaborates closely with French, European, and international research organizations, industrial partners, side stream suppliers, analytical labs, and public entities.

Green Spot Technologies (GST) utilise sa technologie de fermentation en milieu solide et l'upcycling pour proposer les ingrédients alimentaires de demain.
1/ Gamme de solutions alternatives d'ingrédients cacao Ferment'Up, des poudres permettant de réduire à la fois les coûts et l'empreinte environnementale.
2/ Ferment'Up tomate pour les fabricants de sauces, afin de diminuer les coûts et d'optimiser la texture de leurs recettes en utilisant 100 % de la tomate.
L'entreprise a été fondée initialement en Nouvelle-Zélande à la suite de la thèse de doctorat de la Dr Ninna Granucci. En 2018, après une levée de fonds réussie, l'entreprise a déménagé en France, où le pays et l'Union européenne offrent des conditions idéales pour sa croissance.
Actuellement, l'équipe est composée de plus de 23 membres, dont les expertises couvrent la microbiologie, la biochimie, les sciences alimentaires, le génie des procédés et le développement commercial. L'équipe commerciale de Green Spot est basée à Toulouse, tandis que l'usine de production des ingrédients se trouve sur le démonstrateur industriel à Carpentras. En outre, les équipes commerciales et industrielles sont soutenues par notre équipe de formulation et de biotechnologie à Toulouse. L'entreprise collabore étroitement avec des organisations de recherche françaises, européennes et internationales, des partenaires industriels, des fournisseurs de coproduits, des laboratoires d'analyse et des entités publiques.
