Industrial leader in color intelligence, OliKrom is a company born of scientific research and innovation. With over 15 years' experience in the art of controlling color and programming materials, OliKrom designs and manufactures innovative custom coatings (inks, paints) with controlled, reversible or irreversible color change, depending on temperature, light, pressure or solvent/gas.
OliKrom goes from research to final industrialized product with a global control of color change properties: reproducibility, stability and safety of the manufacturing process. Located near Bordeaux (France), OliKrom is both :
- designer (outsourced R&D for its customers, creation of intelligent pigments)
- formulator (matrix, deposits, characterization)
- industrial producer (inks, paints, masterbatches, varnishes, resins, etc.).
The OliKrom team is made up of experienced scientific experts with solid skills in materials science, photochemistry and phase transition phenomena, formulation and industrial engineering.
Every year, OliKrom supports 70 major industrial companies in all sectors in their innovation efforts: defense, transport, heavy industry, medical, cosmetics, food, space, construction, etc.

Leader industriel en intelligence des couleurs, OliKrom est une entreprise née de la recherche et de l'innovation scientifique. Avec plus de 15 ans d’expérience dans l’art de contrôler la couleur et de programmer la matière, OliKrom conçoit et produit à l’échelle industrielle des revêtements innovants sur-mesure (encres, peintures) à changement de couleur maîtrisé, réversible ou irréversible, en fonction de la température, de la lumière, de la pression ou d'un solvant/gaz.
OliKrom va de la recherche au produit final industrialisé avec une maîtrise globale des propriétés à changement de couleur : reproductibilité, stabilité et sécurité du procédé de fabrication. Située près de Bordeaux (France), OliKrom est à la fois :
- concepteur (R&D externalisée pour ses clients, création de pigments intelligents)
- formulateur (matrice, dépôts, caractérisation)
- producteur industriel (encres, peintures, mélanges-maîtres, vernis, résines...)
L’équipe OliKrom est constituée d’experts scientifiques expérimentés dotés de solides compétences en science des matériaux, en photochimie et phénomènes de transition de phase, en formulation et génie industriel.
