Depuis 1990, l’association Dessine-moi un mouton soutient les enfants, les adolescents et les parents touchés par le VIH-sida dans son centre d’accueil et de consultation ouvert du lundi au samedi. Une équipe de professionnels pluridisciplinaire (psychologues, infirmières, assistante sociale, animatrice...) met en œuvre une prise en charge globale.
Elle intervient dans les domaines de la santé, de l'accompagnement psychologique, du social et de l’éducatif.
Les missions :
- Accompagnement de la santé : réduire le risque de transmission du virus du sida de la mère à l’enfant, soutenir l’observance thérapeutique et le suivi médical, favoriser l’accès aux soins et aux traitements, prévenir et informer sur les questions de santé et du VIH
- Soutien psychologique : mieux vivre avec le VIH, permettre aux personnes de parler de la maladie en se libérant des secrets et des non-dits, soutien à la parentalité
- Accompagnement éducatif : prévenir des risques de maltraitance, accompagner les adolescents dans leur projet socio-éducatif
- Accompagnement à l'insertion : (droit, professionnel) améliorer la situation sociale des familles fragilisées par la maladie, répondre aux difficultés d’insertion et de précarité des personnes touchées par le virus du sida
