Created in 1971, OMR Marcq Rugby Lille MĂ©tropole welcomes one of the largest rugby schools north of Paris and has 550 licensees.

Créé en 1971, l’OMR Marcq Rugby Lille Métropole accueille une des plus grosses écoles de rugby au nord de Paris et compte 550 licenciés.
Le club s’inscrit aujourd’hui dans une démarche métropolitaine et, avec l’appui de la Métropole Européenne de Lille (MEL), de la Région, de la Ligue de rugby des Hauts-de-France, du Comité du Nord, et en concertation avec les autres clubs locaux, porte le nouveau projet de grand club Métropolitain de rugby dans le nord de la France.
Évoluant en Nationale (top 44 des clubs français), l’ambition est d’atteindre la PRO D2 à court terme.
Pour atteindre cette ambition, nous nous sommes fixés comme objectif prioritaire de profiter des capacités structurelles du Stadium (10000 places, des espaces réceptifs, des annexes), pour en faire un véritable lieu de vie, incontournable, en y organisant des événements réguliers ou uniques permettant d’attirer le public le plus large possible.
