After 10 years as a business foundation, the Pileje Foundation has been sheltered since April 2015, sheltered by the Fondation de France.

Promouvoir la santé durable
Après 10 ans en tant que Fondation d’entreprise, la Fondation PiLeJe est, depuis avril 2015, abritée par la Fondation de France.
Un tel rattachement lui permet de bénéficier des mêmes conditions qu’une Fondation reconnue d’utilité publique :
– elle élargit ainsi ses moyens financiers à différents donateurs publics et privés (particuliers, entreprises, associations et autres Fondations),
– elle conserve le nom de PiLeJe tant que ses financements seront à 51% au moins issus de l’entreprise,
– elle conforte, par ailleurs, ses relations avec le service public de la santé (Agences Régionales de Santé, CPAM, hôpitaux...).
Depuis sa création, la Fondation PiLeJe a fait le choix d’une gouvernance (Conseil d’administration puis Comité Exécutif) composée de 2/3 de personnalités qualifiées extérieures à l’entreprise, là où la loi n’en impose qu’1/3 minimum. Cela traduit la volonté de concrétiser la mission de la Fondation en s’appuyant sur l’intelligence collective et de nombreuses bonnes volontés.
La Fondation PiLeJe abritée par la Fondation de France s’inscrit à la fois dans la continuité et le changement. En tant que Fondation « opératrice », elle poursuit ainsi dans toute la France ses activités de conférences (près de 1100 en 15 ans dans des écoles, mairies, entreprises et même au Parlement) et d’éditions (450 000 livrets d’informations et 6 livres avec Albin Michel), en collaboration avec de nombreux partenaires.
La nouvelle Fondation PiLeJe élargit également son objet à l’accessibilité et la promotion, dans les parcours de soins comme dans la vie quotidienne, des connaissances et savoir-faire favorables à la santé et à une prévention personnalisée.
