Description
  • Value proposition

Decarbonisation & security of supply are two sides of the same coin. We develop solutions with EU gas infrastructure.

GIE is the voice of Europe's gas infrastructure operators. Our members work and innovate with transmission, storage and import terminals. We develop solutions to foster EU security of supply while enhancing decarbonisation with natural, low-carbon, renewable gases, including hydrogen and biomethane.

Gathering 68 industry entities from 25 European countries, GIE perfectly embodies the multiple transitional pathways of the different regions.

The association is working on becoming the backbone of the new innovative energy system. Its objective is to allow European citizens and industries to benefit from a secure, integrated and climate-neutral energy supply by 2050.

Transmission System Operators, Storage System Operators, LNG Terminal Operators, Regulatory framework, Investment climate, Corporate Communication, and Specialized in EU institutions
