Since 2018, the Tech4Germany Fellowship has been experiencing the advantages of user -centered work in software development projects at federal level. Tech4Germany brings around 32 talents from UI/UX Design, Tech and Product with the federal administration annually. Together with the team from the Ministry, user -centered software prototypes are developed for concrete challenges of the federal ministries using agile methods.

Seit 2018 macht das Tech4Germany Fellowship die Vorteile nutzerzentrierten Arbeitens bei Software Entwicklungsprojekten auf Bundesebene erfahrbar. Tech4Germany bringt dafür jährlich rund 32 Talente aus UI/UX Design, Tech und Product für 12 Wochen mit der Bundesverwaltung zusammen. Gemeinsam mit dem Team aus dem Ministerium werden mittels agiler Methoden nutzerzentrierte Software Prototypen für konkrete Herausforderungen der Bundesministerien entwickelt.
Im September 2020 wurde die 4Germany UG vom Bund übernommen und in diesem Zuge zur DigitalService GmbH des Bundes. Das Ziel: eine bundeseigene Software Entwicklungs Einheit, die nutzerzentriert bessere Lösungen für alle Menschen in Deutschland baut. Die beiden Fellowship Programme Tech4Germany und Work4Germany, die seit 2018 in mehrmonatigen Programmen Digitaltalente in die Bundesministerien bringen und die Vorteile agilen Arbeitens erlebbar machen, sind weiterhin Bestandteil der DigitalService GmbH des Bundes.
