Polo Meccatronica represents the most recent declination of Trentino's natural inclination towards mechanics and mechatronics. This is in fact the sector that employs the largest number of workers in the manufacturing industry (nearly 10,000), counting around 800 active companies and guaranteeing an important contribution to Trentino exports.
In a logic of business hub, research centers and training institutes develop their own functions and together respond to the need for innovation in the area.

La coabitazione di startup, istituti superiori, dipartimenti universitari, centri di ricerca, acceleratori industriali, supportati dai servizi ad alto valore aggiunto offerti da Trentino Sviluppo, crea le condizioni ideali per la sperimentazione e la produzione di processi e prodotti innovativi.
Polo Meccatronica rappresenta la più recente declinazione di una naturale inclinazione del Trentino verso la meccanica e la meccatronica.
