    A non-profit association under the 1901 law, recognized as being of public utility, the Noise Information and Documentation Center (CIDB) has the main missions of informing, raising awareness, documenting and training on the subject of protecting the sound environment.     Association loi 1901 à but non lucratif, reconnue d'utilité publique, le Centre d’information et de documentation sur le bruit (CIDB) a pour principales missions d’informer, de sensibiliser, de documenter et de former sur le thème de la protection de l’environnement sonore. Créé en 1978 à l’initiative du ministère chargé de l’Environnement, le CIDB est l’interlocuteur privilégié tant du grand public que des organismes publics ou privés intervenant dans le domaine de la gestion de l'environnement sonore.
    Le CIDB est un lieu de ressources et de diffusion de l'information vouée à la promotion de la qualité de notre environnement sonore.

    Le CIDB met en oeuvre différents types d'actions à destination de tous les publics concernés par la qualité de l'environnement sonore : architectes, entrepreneurs, industriels, mairies, écoles et particuliers.
