Le CSUM est une Unité d'Appui et de Recherche de l'Université de Montpellier (UAR UM 502). Avec 10 plateformes nanosatellites développées au CSUM en orbite à son actif (dont les premiers nanosatellites français jamais envoyés dans l'Espace !), il est le leader en développement et lancement de plateformes satellites de type CubeSat académiques en France. Le CSUM dispose de tous les moyens techniques permettant de réaliser une mission End-to-End, depuis les phases amont jusqu’aux opérations, en passant par les tests fonctionnels et d’environnement et peut mettre à disposition ses équipements dans le cadre de prestations.
