Created by Doctors in 2005, Recherche et Avenir (REA) was founded on missions linked to its purpose: "Contribute to a sustainable world by promoting knowledge, talents and potential to facilitate cooperation around research and innovation for the benefit of all."
Labeled a Center for Technological Diffusion since 2018 by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research and Innovation, REA promotes interactions between Research and Industry, Education and Culture.
Thanks to the support of economic, territorial and academic players from 06, 83, 13 and 84, REA is carrying out three major structuring projects in parallel:
1) The RUE system
Through the RUE system, REA supports and advises companies on elements related to their R&D development. It helps them structure their projects and connects them with the Research ecosystem: laboratories, universities, technology platforms, skills centers, etc.
2) Training and support for PhD students and Young Doctors towards employment
Through personalized support towards employment (training, workshops, round tables) and personalized monitoring, REA facilitates the integration of Young Doctors into companies.
At the interface of the academic and economic worlds, REA facilitates the integration of Young Doctors into the economic world, promotes Research, and supports Innovation, thus creating value and employment in the regions.
3) Scientific dissemination through communication actions
Its annual workshop deals with the challenges of Research and Innovation today in France and more specifically in the South Region.
Its Research and Society Festival promotes innovative and promising scientific projects, thus making it possible to communicate the meaning and impacts of these projects to the general public.Original language

Créée par des Docteurs en 2005 Recherche et Avenir (REA) s’est fondée sur des missions en lien avec sa raison d’être : « Contribuer à un monde durable en valorisant les connaissances, les talents et les potentiels pour faciliter la coopération autour de la recherche et de l’innovation au service de tous. »
Labellisée Centre de Diffusion Technologique depuis 2018 par le Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche et de l’Innovation, REA favorise les interactions entre Recherche et Industrie, Education et Culture.
Grace au soutien d’acteurs économiques, territoriaux et académiques du 06, 83, 13 et 84, REA mène en parallèle trois grands projets structurants :
1) Le dispositif RUE
A travers le dispositif RUE, REA accompagne et conseille les entreprises sur des éléments en lien avec leur développement R&D. Elle les aide à la structuration de leurs projets et les met en relation avec l’écosystème de la Recherche : laboratoires, universités, plateformes technologiques, centres de compétences...
2) La formation suivie, et l’accompagnement des Doctorants et Jeunes Docteurs vers l’emploi
Par un accompagnement personnalisé vers l’emploi (animation de formations, d’ateliers, de tables rondes) et par un suivi personnalisé, REA facilite l’intégration des Jeunes Docteurs en entreprise.
A l’interface des mondes académique et économique, REA facilite l’intégration des Jeunes Docteurs dans le monde économique, promeut la Recherche, et soutient l’Innovation, créant ainsi valeur et emploi sur les territoires.
3) La diffusion scientifique au travers d’actions de communication
Son workshop annuel traite des enjeux de la Recherche et de l’Innovation aujourd’hui en France et plus précisément dans la Région Sud.
Son Festival Recherche et Société valorise les projets scientifiques innovants et porteurs permettant ainsi de communiquer auprès du grand public le sens et les impacts de ces projets.
