For 10 days, Paris 2018 has put the spotlight on the international metropolis, the Île-de-France region and France and offered participants and visitors from all over the world a unique opportunity to enjoy exceptional infrastructures such as the Jean Bouin and Charléty stadiums, Aren'ice, the Arènes de Lutèce, the Grand Palais, and the Vaires-sur-Marne nautical base, the future Olympic site.
Looking to the world and the future, Paris has given new life to the Gay Games and rediscovered the spirit of Tom Waddell, its initiator, who dreamed of a world where the word equality would take on its full meaning, a world where exclusion would no longer exist because of any difference.

Les Gay Games, un événement engagé pour l’inclusion et le respect de la diversité
Du 4 au 12 août 2018, Paris a accueilli la 10e édition des Gay Games, la plus grande manifestation sportive, culturelle et festive du monde, véritablement ouverte à toutes et à tous !
Organisés tous les quatre ans depuis plus de 30 ans, véritable hymne à l’amour, les Gay Games prônent une société ouverte à toutes les diversités. La prochaine édition aura lieu en 2022 à Hong Kong.
Gay Games 10 ont compté plus de 10 000 participants venant de 91 pays, 20 000 visiteurs et 75000 spectateurs et dégagé un impact économique de plus de 100 millions d'euros pour un budget de 5 millions seulement. Soutenue par les plus hautes instances institutionnelles et sportives françaises, Paris 2018 a construit des jeux célébrant la diversité, le respect, l’égalité, la solidarité et le partage.
Pendant 10 jours, Paris 2018 a mis à l’honneur la métropole internationale, la région Île-de-France et la France et offert aux participants et visiteurs du monde entier une occasion unique de profiter d’infrastructures exceptionnelles comme les stades Jean Bouin et Charléty, Aren'ice, les Arènes de Lutèce, le Grand Palais, ou encore la base nautique de Vaires-sur-Marne, futur site olympique.
