The Human Rights Platform "PDH" is a collective of French NGOs acting internationally for the promotion and defense of human rights. La Plateforme Droits de l’Homme « PDH » est un collectif d’ONG françaises agissant à l’international pour la promotion et la défense des droits de l’Homme. Sa création est issue du constat qu’il n’existe pas, en France, de réseau offrant un espace permanent d’échanges et de collaboration aux ONG françaises engagées sur ces enjeux au niveau international. Elle permet aux membres d’accroître leur visibilité, représentation, mise en lien et renforcement mutuel.
La Plateforme Droits de l’Homme, a été officiellement créée en septembre 2017 à l’initiative de 12 ONG ayant leur siège social en France. Son objectif est de renforcer la dynamique collective et l’efficacité des organismes œuvrant en matière de défense des droits de l’Homme à l’international.
La PDH rassemble des organisations à but non lucratif et des organisations solidaires d’utilité sociale (ESUS), dotées de la personnalité morale ayant leur siège social ou leur bureau de représentation en France, engagées sur le plan international dans le domaine des droits de l’Homme, autour des objectifs suivants :
• Promouvoir la représentation et la visibilité de ses membres auprès des pouvoirs publics français ou de tout autre partenaire public ou privé, national ou international autour d’enjeux liés à la promotion et la défense des droits de l’Homme.
• Développer des interfaces de dialogue entre les membres en favorisant une mutualisation de moyens, des compétences et des outils à leur disposition.
• Renforcer les capacités et l’efficacité des membres comme des acteurs clés de la promotion et la défense des droits de l’Homme dans leurs pratiques d’organisation et développement.
