A major player in the social and solidarity economy, the French mutuality, chaired by Eric Chenut, represents nearly 500 mutuals. Born from the desire for women and men to jointly protect themselves from the vagaries of life, mutuals are societies of non -profit people. They are chaired by elected mutualist activists.
