Entrepreneurs in HealthTech
Created in 1997, the association is the French non-profit organization that brings together the country's leading innovative health compagnies and their expert partners (investors, lawyers, research institutes, cluster, etc...). Its core mission is to promote health innovation in France and help the sector's start-up companies and SMEs to become tomorrow's leaders able to rapidly develop new therapeutic solutions.
Our Missions:
To support innovative start-ups and SMEs of the HealthTech industry (biotech, medtech, digital health, big data) by tackling four major issues:
- Financial: encourage investment in health innovation
- Tax: ensure fiscal stability
- Administrative and regulatory: facilitate clinical trials, health data access...
- Cultural: promote technology transfer, public/private collaborations

Les entrepreneurs de la HealthTech
France Biotech, fondée en 1997, est une association professionnelle indépendante qui fédère les entreprises innovantes en santé et leurs partenaires experts.
Animateur de l’écosystème de l’innovation en santé et interlocuteur privilégié des pouvoirs publics en France et en Europe, France Biotech contribue à relever les défis du secteur HealthTech (le financement des entreprises, la fiscalité de l’innovation, les enjeux réglementaires et d’accès au marché, etc...) et à proposer des solutions concrètes, en termes de compétitivité et d’attractivité, par l’intermédiaire de ses 7 commissions et ses 4 groupes de travail.
Ceci afin d’aider les start-ups et les PME de cette filière à devenir des entreprises internationales performantes et capables de concevoir et développer rapidement de nouvelles innovations et les rendre accessibles in fine aux patients.
France Biotech est présidée depuis avril 2024 par Frédéric Girard.
