EMC2, a competitiveness cluster certified by the State in 2005, has its roots in a historical culture of the transformation and implementation of materials in Pays de la Loire. Its missions today converge towards a major objective: French industrial competitiveness.
Our association brings together, around key markets and technologies, all the players in innovation. Small and large companies, research organizations, training centers participate in the emergence of collaborative R&D projects. In the service of French industrial competitiveness, a main objective drives us: to strengthen the territorial ecosystem of innovation and growth, by structuring and locally leading four sectors - aeronautics, naval, land transport, energy - in a common and transversal dimension: production technologies.

EMC2, pôle de compétitivité labellisé par l’Etat en 2005, prend ses racines dans une culture historique de la transformation et de la mise en œuvre des matériaux en Pays de la Loire. Ses missions convergent aujourd’hui vers un objectif majeur : la compétitivité industrielle française.
Notre association regroupe, autour de marchés et de technologies clés, l’ensemble des acteurs de l’innovation. Entreprises petites et grandes, organismes de recherche, centres de formation participent à l’émergence de projets de R&D collaboratifs. Au service de la compétitivité industrielle française, un objectif principal nous anime : renforcer l’écosystème territorial d’innovation et de croissance, en structurant et en animant localement quatre filières - aéronautique, naval, transport terrestre, énergie – dans une dimension commune et transversale : les technologies de production.
