🇫🇷 Fondé en France en 1963, le groupe IDEX, fort de près de 6 500 collaborateurs, développe, conçoit, finance, construit et exploite des infrastructures énergétiques locales et décarbonées de fourniture de chaleur et d’électricité pour les bâtiments, les villes & l’industrie.
Avec un chiffre d’affaires de 2,1 milliards d’euros en 2025, IDEX est aujourd’hui le seul opérateur du marché verticalement intégré sur l’ensemble de la chaîne de valeur des énergies locales. Il intervient de la production d’énergie thermique ou électrique à partir de ressources énergétiques locales et décarbonées (déchets, biomasse, géothermie, solaire), en passant par la distribution de cette énergie à travers les réseaux de chaleur et de froid jusqu'à l’optimisation de son usage final au sein des bâtiments industriels, résidentiels et tertiaires.
Depuis l’été 2025, IDEX est entreprise à mission. Une étape importante qui manifeste l’ambition du Groupe d’avoir un impact positif pour la planète et pour la société.
🇬🇧 Founded in France in 1963, Idex develops, designs, finances, builds and operates local energy and carbon-free infrastructures, which provide renewable heat and local electricity supply to buildings, cities & industry. Idex is currently the only vertically integrated market operator delivering the complete value chain for local energy provision. The Group is involved in the production of thermal or electrical energy from local and low-carbon energy resources (geothermal, solar, biomass, waste), the distribution of this energy through district heating and cooling networks, to its final use in industrial, residential and tertiary buildings and other applications.
In summer 2025, Idex became a mission-driven company. A milestone in its development that reflects the Group's ambition to make a positive impact on the planet and on society as a whole.
