Première aire urbaine de la Nièvre, avec un tiers de la population nivernaise, 33 322 emplois et 2 739 entreprises, le territoire se distingue par une qualité de vie appréciée et recherchée. C’est également le deuxième pôle estudiantin de Bourgogne avec 2000 étudiants, 31 formations regroupées dans 14 filières. Lieu de vie avant tout, les activités sont nombreuses : sports, loisirs, festivals... les choix sont multiples.
