Planet A is a venture capital fund supporting European green tech startups that have a significant positive impact on our planet. Our mission is to promote an economy within the planetary boundaries by supporting innovation in four key areas: climate mitigation, waste reduction, resource savings and biodiversity protection.

At Planet A we rely on rigorous scientific impact assessments to inform investment decisions and empower founders to manage and improve their impact. We’re the first European VC with an in-house science team that calculates life cycle assessments to quantify the impact of a startup. Our scientists hold the power to veto investments if there is no significant positive and quantifiable impact.
