DIGITAL AQUITAINE is the association which works for the economic development of businesses and other players in the digital sector in Aquitaine (training, research, etc.). Digital Aqutaine functions like a competitiveness cluster and acts as a HUB unifying skills and initiatives in Aquitaine.
Its main missions focus on:
- The emergence of large-scale collaborative projects with the aim of visibility, animation and promotion of the sector at the regional, national and international level.
-The creation of wealth and employment in the region.
DIGITAL AQUITAINE is an association created on November 3, 2014, by the following founding members:
-ADEISO
- ICT-Health
- TOPOS
- The LA POSTE Group
- CDiscount
- The Regional Council of Aquitaine
- Bordeaux Metropolis
- The Bordeaux Chamber of Commerce
Nearly 300 companies, communities, training or research organizations are members of Digital Aquitaine.
The Cluster works for the structuring and emergence of Areas of Excellence in digital technology.
3 areas are already animated and structured:
- E-health: hosted by TIC-Santé
- Mobility: hosted by TOPOS
- Connected Commerce: runs the Connected Commerce Club.
4 New domains could be launched by 2017 (qualified as emerging):
• Digital for Energy.
• Digital for employment and training
• E-tourism
• Digital valorization of heritage.
Digital Aquitaine labels collective projects in order to allow project leaders accelerated access to public and private financing. In 2015, 27 projects were labeled “Digital Aquitaine”.

DIGITAL AQUITAINE est l'association qui oeuvre pour le développement économique des entreprises et des autres acteurs de la filière numérique en Aquitaine (formation, recherche...). Digital Aqutaine fonctionne à l'instar d'un pôle de compétitivité et agit comme un HUB fédérateur des compétences et initiatives en Aquitaine.
Ses principales missions s’axent sur :
- L’émergence de projets collaboratifs d’envergure dans un objectif de visibilité, d’animation et de promotion de la filière au niveau régional, national et international.
-La création de richesses et d’emploi dans la région.
