Our team
EDIEC was created during the 2003-2006 quadrennial contract in the desire to bring together both privatist and publicist researchers in order to end a classic divide. The initial project noted the growing internationalization of law and the impossibility of carrying out research in this scientific field without taking into account international law, European standards and aspects of comparative law of the treated subject. The team, which is led by Cyril Nourissat, brings together specialists both compared, European Union law and foreign rights and private and public international law; It consists of 33 teacher-researchers and brings together four research centers: the Center for International Law (CDI), placed under the leadership of Kiara Neri, the Research Center on Private International Law (CREDIP), led by Jeremy Heymann, the European Study Center (CEE), led by Gaëlle Marti and the Institute of Comparative Law Lambert (IDCEL), led by Frédérique Ferrand.

L’EDIEC a été créée lors du contrat quadriennal 2003-2006 dans la volonté de regrouper des chercheurs tant privatistes que publicistes afin de mettre fin à un clivage classique. Le projet initial constatait l’internationalisation croissante du droit et l’impossibilité de réaliser des recherches dans ce domaine scientifique sans tenir compte du droit international, des normes européennes et des aspects de droit comparé du sujet traité. Les regards des internationalistes, des européanistes et des comparatistes doivent se croiser, et il importe de créer des conditions favorables à leur rencontre sur des projets communs.
