Created in 1995 by Assaël Adary and Benoit Volatier, Occurrence is an independent research and consulting firm specializing in communication evaluation (corporate & brand, media analysis, internal, public, event, digital communication, etc.).
For 20 years, Occurrence has been supporting companies and agencies in France and internationally to measure the performance of their communication actions and inform their strategic decisions. In 2008, Occurrence began developing its network with the opening of a first subsidiary dedicated to the Health sector: Occurrence Healthcare. In 2014, Occurrence joined the NXA firm, an expert in evaluation in the environmental-energy and social-training-retirement fields, with an integrated telephone field in La Rochelle, and launched BrainsWatt, an innovation studio that helps organizations become more agile and creative. A member of Syntec Etudes, Occurrence has also been ISO 9001 certified since 2004 and committed to the ISO 26000 CSR standard.

Depuis 20 ans, Occurrence accompagne les entreprises et les agences en France et à l’international pour mesurer la performance de leurs actions de communication et éclairer leurs décisions stratégiques. Le cabinet travaille au service de nombreux grands comptes et institutions de référence : EDF, Engie (ex-GDF Suez), Areva, Carrefour, BNP Paribas, Airbus, MAIF, INPI, ministères, institutions européennes notamment Commission, ainsi que des collectivités locales et organisations ou entreprises publiques... L’équipe de 23 experts maitrise une large gamme d’outils d’évaluation et de prospective (quantitatifs, qualitatifs, sémiologiques, analytics) et capitalise sur « Occurrence Lab », structure interne tournée vers l’innovation du secteur, pour lancer de nouvelles offres d’études.
En 2008, Occurrence entame le développement de son réseau avec l’ouverture d’une première filiale dédiée au secteur de la Santé : Occurrence Healthcare.
