    [Automatic translation follows] Proxity helps young people succeed and strengthens social ties in the heart of the regions!

    Created in Saint-Denis in 2002, Proxité aims to support each young person from areas in difficulty towards their academic and professional success, thanks to support that combines individual mentoring and group time.

    This support is a concrete response for young people who encounter difficulties in their schooling, their orientation and their integration. In conjunction with local socio-educational players, we offer these young people tailor-made support, combining individual sponsorship and collective workshops whose content and pace are adapted to their needs, requests and journey. We also pay particular attention to the training, support and monitoring of volunteers (active in the professional world) who work on our programs.

    More than 20 years after the first mentoring, we have supported more than 10,000 young people and deployed our actions in 9 regions, 30 cities and 58 branches (reception locations for our pairs) to meet the support needs that were already significant before the crisis.

    We regularly evaluate our impact: in 2022-2023, more than 8 out of 10 young people improved their academic results, chose their career path and found the work-study program, training or job they wanted.

    Proxité fait réussir les jeunes et renforce le lien social au cœur des territoires !

    Créée à Saint-Denis en 2002, Proxité a pour ambition d’accompagner chaque jeune issu des territoires en difficulté vers sa réussite scolaire et professionnelle, grâce à un accompagnement qui mêle mentorat individuel et temps collectifs.

    Cet accompagnement est une réponse concrète pour les jeunes qui rencontrent des difficultés dans leur scolarité, leur orientation et leur insertion. En lien avec les acteurs socio-éducatifs locaux, nous proposons à ces jeunes un accompagnement sur-mesure, articulant parrainage individuel et ateliers collectifs dont les contenus et le rythme sont adaptés à leurs besoins, demandes et parcours. Nous accordons également une attention particulière à la formation, l’accompagnement et le suivi des bénévoles (actifs dans le monde professionnel) qui interviennent sur nos programmes.

    Plus de 20 ans après les premiers mentorats, nous avons accompagné plus de 10 000 jeunes et avons déployé nos actions dans 9 régions, 30 villes et 58 antennes (lieux d'accueil de nos binômes) pour répondre aux besoins d’accompagnement déjà conséquents avant la crise.

    Nous évaluons régulièrement notre impact : en 2022-2023, plus de 8 jeunes sur 10 ont amélioré leurs résultats scolaires, choisi leur orientation et trouvé l'alternance, la formation ou l'emploi qu'ils souhaitaient.
