The Union of Community Pharmacists' Unions - USPO
Created in 2001, the USPO is a young union determined to defend the profession and modernize unionism.
Established in all regions, the USPO's audience stands at 43%, following the last professional elections in December 2015. With this support, the USPO aims to be the spokesperson for community pharmacies and works daily to defend all pharmacists and improve patient care throughout the territory.
Since its creation, the USPO has mobilized to defend the pharmacy and community pharmacists. Many battles have been won by the USPO, such as improving the margin on quarterly packaging, simplifying generic discounts, maintaining the pharmaceutical monopoly, and the new missions of the pharmacist in supporting patients. More recently, the USPO signed a new pharmaceutical agreement with the Mandatory and Supplementary Health Insurance that allows for a real evolution of the pharmacy economy and profession.
The USPO is a forward-looking union that initiates new reflections and proposes innovative ideas that respond to the evolution of the profession.
The USPO wishes to support these changes by strengthening the role of the pharmacy in the care pathway, by modifying the method of remuneration of pharmacists, within the framework of a contract between the profession and the State, guaranteeing medium-term economic visibility.
Our strategy is to propose, innovate and anticipate the evolutions of our profession to better respond to health challenges by involving and promoting the skills of the network of community pharmacists.

L’Union de syndicats de pharmaciens d’officine - USPO
Créée en 2001, l’USPO est un jeune syndicat déterminé à défendre la profession et à moderniser le syndicalisme.
Implantée dans l’ensemble des régions, l’audience de l’USPO s’établit à 43%, suite aux dernières élections professionnelles de décembre 2015. Forte de ce soutien, l’USPO se veut porte-parole des pharmacies d’officine et travaille au quotidien pour défendre tous les pharmaciens et améliorer la prise en charge des patients sur l’ensemble du territoire.
L’USPO s’est mobilisée depuis sa création pour défendre la pharmacie et les pharmaciens d’officine. De nombreux combats ont été gagnés par l’USPO, comme l’amélioration de la marge sur les conditionnements trimestriels, la simplification des remises génériques, le maintien du monopole pharmaceutique, les nouvelles missions du pharmacien dans l’accompagnement des patients. Plus récemment, l’USPO a signé avec l’Assurance maladie obligatoire et complémentaire une nouvelle convention pharmaceutique qui permet une réelle évolution de l’économie et du métier de l’officine.
L’USPO est un syndicat prospectif qui engage de nouvelles réflexions et propose des idées novatrices répondant à l’évolution de la profession.
L’USPO souhaite accompagner ces changements en renforçant le rôle de la pharmacie dans le parcours de soins, en modifiant le mode de rémunération des pharmaciens, dans le cadre d’un contrat entre la profession et l’Etat, garant d’une visibilité économique à moyen terme.
Notre stratégie est de proposer, d’innover et d’anticiper les évolutions de notre métier pour mieux répondre aux défis de santé en impliquant et valorisant les compétences du réseau des pharmaciens d’officine.
