Qunfil creates “String art” paintings which reproduce your photos in a different format.
Several dozen nails are placed on circular supports. These allow a hooking point to pass wire between each of them. Between the starting nail and the finishing nail, there is only a stretched wire of around 800 meters. The result of this weaving gives a mosaic of thread comparable to a spider's web.
Up close, you can easily see the overlapping of the wire. With hindsight, the image created appears clear. Therein lies the surprise of these works.
These paintings are made using a machine, designed and designed by Melvyn, creator of Qunfil.

Entre le clou de départ et le clou d'arrivée, il n'y a qu'un fil tendu d'environ 800 mètres. Le résultat de ce tissage donne une mosaïque de fil comparable à une toile d’araignée.
Proche, on aperçoit facilement le chevauchement du fil. Avec du recul, l'image réalisée apparaît de manière claire. Là est la surprise de ces œuvres.
