The November workshop comes from the meeting of architects Marc Iseppi and Jacques Pajot in the decorative arts. In 2023, three new partners joined the agency's management to support its development and register it in the future: architects Natacha Froutout, Charles-Elie Mathais and Marine Guitton.

L’Atelier Novembre est issu de la rencontre des architectes Marc Iseppi et Jacques Pajot aux Arts Déco. A la création de leur agence en 1989, leur double formation (DPLG + ENSAD) impose l’idée que l’intemporalité d’une architecture ou d’un aménagement provient plus de la qualité des relations qu’ils établissent, que d’une accumulation de signes et de formes.
Le parcours de l’atelier témoigne alors, dans le cadre de la commande publique, d’un vaste champ de réflexions, notamment en équipements à vocations culturelle, tertiaire, administrative et d’enseignement, pour des bâtiments neufs comme de complexes restructurations.
En 2008, après 5 ans d’études et de travaux, ils livrent le CentQuatre, projet emblématique de l’agence qui fait aujourd’hui référence en matière d’équipement en accroche au territoire. Parmi d’autres réalisations, peuvent aussi être cités : le Mémorial du Camp des Milles d’Aix-en-Provence, la médiathèque Jean-Pierre Vernant à Chelles, et plus récemment, la bibliothèque-musée Inguimbertine à Carpentras, les Conservatoire à rayonnement départemental d’Orsay et de Pantin, le Pôle culturel de la Visitation de Thonon-les-Bains, le lycée international de Palaiseau. Par ailleurs, dès 2016, l’agence ouvre encore son champ d’intervention en œuvrant à la conception de 5 gares du Grand Paris Express.
En 2023, trois nouveaux associés intègrent la direction de l'agence pour accompagner son développement et l’inscrire dans l’avenir : les architectes Natacha Fricout, Charles-Elie Mathais et Marine Guitton.
