Viride is a German startup that uses #algae as a solution to the sustainability problems of our time. Viride is convinced that sustainably grown, naturally vegan, CO2 neutral algae will be part of almost every value chain in the future The reason is simple: Algae are rich in proteins, fats such as omega-3 and trace elements, which means they can serve not only in human and animal nutrition, but also as a crude oil substitute and even source of plastic which then serves as a CO2-carbon-sink.
