The Skravik cooperative aims to propose a new model of society contributing to a better integration of social, societal and environmental issues in maritime activities. Skravik proposes to awaken to the potential of modern sailing workboats to shape a sustainable future for coastal territories.
The performance of sailing vessels has evolved significantly over the last 30 years, making these vessels relevant again for many operations (fishing, sea campaigns, servitude, etc.)
We upcycle pleasure sailboats that we transform into sail-powered work vessels for different professions such as fishing and maritime operations. This involves creating and inventing a versatile work tool adapted to the needs of professions with new specificities and meeting constraints usually specific to motor vessels.
For 2024, we offer sea campaign services in coastal or offshore areas along the entire North Atlantic-Channel coast aboard the 2 work sailboats MORSKOUL and SKRAVIK. The themes of the missions are:

We have also been experimenting with sailing fishing in Brest harbor since 2021. The SKRAVIK vessel has received approval in principle as a professional fishing vessel, division 227 in the 4th category, and will be able to operate throughout the Brest harbor sector and in the Iroise Sea.
