Since October 2022, the knowledge platform of the territory of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur has brought together in a partnership frames the four founding members that are the State, the Region, the INSEE and the IGN.
It constitutes an inter-actor coordination body, a place for project sharing and animation, as well as a pole of production and dissemination of digital studies, data and services.
Its primary objective is the implementation of a public service around studies and data in support of territorial engineering and strategic planning.

The system is based on a network of actors to facilitate the exchange of information and experiences, identify the necessary productions in terms of data or studies or even prefigure thematic and technical and shared subjects of collective interest. The free membership (bit.ly/adrusion-plateform) to the process is proposed to allow regional players to best register in the decision-making process of work areas.
The platform thus bears a data opening program, runs working groups on major interests of interest (measurement of space consumption, observation of economic land, bicycle databases, identification of urban and agricultural wasteland ...), promotes partnership production production and offers a rich event program throughout the year.
Its action is presented in an ambitious scalable roadmap, serving the territories.

Le portail de la connaissance au service des territoires
Depuis octobre 2022, la Plateforme connaissance du territoire de Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur réunit au sein d’un partenariat cadre les quatre membres fondateurs que sont l'Etat, la Région, l’Insee et l’IGN.
Elle constitue une instance de coordination inter-acteurs, un lieu de partage et d’animation de projet, ainsi qu’un pôle de production et de diffusion des études, données et services numériques.
Son objectif premier est la mise en œuvre d’un service public autour des études et de la donnée en appui à l’ingénierie territoriale et la planification stratégique.
La Plateforme tend ainsi à constituer un pôle d'observation, un cadre facilitateur et de confiance un catalyseur favorisant le "passage à l'échelle" de l'ingénierie territoriale.
Le dispositif s’appuie sur un réseau d’acteurs pour faciliter les échanges d’information et d’expériences, identifier les productions nécessaires en matière de données ou d’études ou encore préfigurer des sujets thématiques et techniques d'intérêt collectif et partagé. La libre adhésion (bit.ly/Adhesion-plateforme) à la démarche est proposée pour permettre aux acteurs régionaux de s’inscrire au mieux dans le processus décisionnel des axes de travail.
La Plateforme porte ainsi un programme d’ouverture des données, anime des groupes de travail sur des sujets d'intérêt majeurs (mesure de la consommation d’espace, observation du foncier économique, bases de données vélo, identification des friches urbaines et agricoles...), favorise la production partenariale d’études et propose un programme événementiel riche tout au long de l’année.
Son action est présentée dans une feuille de route évolutive ambitieuse, au service des territoires.
