The I-Site (Sciences, Innovation, Territories, Economies initiatives) comes from a call for projects launched by the State as part of the Investment Program for the future in order to bring out universities of international dimension in France.
The project of excellence Next (Nantes Excellence Trajectory) is based on two major axes, the health of the future and the industry of the future, with a training effect on all disciplines and a formation of human and social sciences. It aims to assert an innovative trajectory in research, training and technology transfer, backed by ambitious campus life policies and international attractiveness.
The implementation of the project is part of a reinforced collaboration between member establishments (Nantes University, Centrale Nantes, CHU de Nantes, Inserm, IRT Jules Verne, Ecole des Beaux-Arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire, Nantes architecture school) and partners (CNRS, ONIRIS, INRAE, ICO and IFREMER).
The initiative was labeled in February 2017 and benefited from a probationary period until March 2022. The labeling was confirmed final on March 22, 2022 by decision of the Prime Minister.Original language

L’I-SITE (Initiatives Sciences, Innovation, Territoires, Economies) est issu d’un appel à projet lancé par l’état dans le cadre du Programme d’Investissement d’Avenir afin de faire émerger des universités de dimension internationale en France.
Le projet d’excellence NExT (Nantes Excellence Trajectory) s’appuie sur deux axes majeurs, la santé du futur et l’industrie du futur, avec un effet d’entraînement sur l’ensemble des disciplines et une forme implication des sciences humaines et sociales. Il vise à affirmer une trajectoire innovante en recherche, formation et transfert technologique, adossée à d’ambitieuses politiques de vie de campus et d’attractivité internationale.
La mise en œuvre du projet s’inscrit dans une collaboration renforcée entre les établissements membres (Nantes Université, Centrale Nantes, CHU de Nantes, INSERM, IRT Jules Verne, Ecole des Beaux-Arts Nantes Saint-Nazaire, Ecole d’architecture de Nantes) et les partenaires (CNRS, ONIRIS, INRAE, ICO et IFREMER).
L’initiative a été labellisée en février 2017 et a bénéficié d’une période probatoire jusqu’en mars 2022. La labellisation a été confirmée à titre définitif le 22 mars 2022 par décision du Premier ministre.

L'I-SITE NExT est à la recherche de son.sa Directeur.rice xn--oprationnel-cbb.le adjoint.e et chef.fe de projet Recherche et Innovation.
Il-elle aura pour mission principale d’accompagner la structuration du pilotage de l’I-SITE, sa coordination et son évaluation. Il-elle aura pour mission complémentaire de piloter la cellule recherche et innovation de l’équipe opérationnelle NExT dans une démarche de transversalité et d’amélioration continue.
Last Tuesday, the I-SITE NExT Talent laureates were invited by Juan Sandoval from Laboratoire des Sciences du Numérique de Nantes (LS2N) and Vito Rubino from GeM to visit their labs at Centrale Nantes.
They presented their platform and work, and we had the opportunity to finish the visit with a tour of the test tanks presented by Bertrand Malas.
Sincere gratitude for the warm welcome you gave us during the visit of your labs and explaination of your projects. Sharing your passion for science during this event was a real pleasure!
Your availability and educational approach made this experience truly valuable.

Le dispositif NExT Talents bénéficie du soutien financier de l’État au titre du Plan d’investissement France 2030, de la Région Pays de la Loire, et de Nantes Métropole.
