La Région Sud Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, au travers de sa direction générale Europe et
Coopération méditerranéenne et sous l’impulsion de son président, Renaud MUSELIER, a confirmé
au fil des années son rôle central pour la mobilisation des financements européens au bénéfice de
ses habitants et de ses territoires.
Depuis 2014, la Région Sud s’est illustrée par un savoir-faire exemplaire en matière de gestion et de
captation des financements européens, ce qui lui a valu l’attribution du prix Région Européenne
Entreprenante 2021-2022 par le Comité des Régions. Cette distinction constitue une reconnaissance
de l’efficacité de la stratégie mise en place par la Région.
En sa qualité d’autorité de gestion, depuis 2014, des programmes FEDE- FSE, FEADER, FEAMPA et du
programme Interreg Euro-MED, la Région n’a cessé d’augmenter la captation de financements
européens pour soutenir des milliers de projets. Ce dynamisme concerne également les projets
financés par l’Europe au titre des programmes thématiques (Horizon 2020, Erasmus+, Life...) ainsi
que des programmes de coopération territoriale européenne (Alcotra, Marittimo...).
Dans le cadre de la programmation 2021-2027 des fonds européens, la Région Provence-Alpes-Côte
d’Azur, autorité de gestion du FEDER, du FSE+ et du Fonds pour une Transition Juste (FTJ), a construit
sa feuille de route régionale autour d’une triple ambition :
- Orienter les programmes pour qu’ils répondent aux besoins identifiés sur le territoire ;
- Informer les opérateurs régionaux de chaque possibilité de financement européen ;
- Les accompagner dans le montage de leurs projets et leur mise en œuvre.
