ArbeiterKind.de möchte durch ein niedrigschwelliges, bedarfsorientiertes und flächendeckendes Beratungsnetzwerk erreichen, dass die Quote der Nicht-Akademikerkinder an Hochschulen steigt und die Quote der Studienabbrecher verringert wird. Bundesweit engagieren sich 6.000 Ehrenamtliche in 80 lokalen Gruppen, unterstützt von zwölf Bundeslandbüros und der Geschäftsstelle in Berlin.
