Created in 2018, Wings of the Ocean is the first association for collecting wild waste in France.
The French association works to protect the ocean, through waste collection and awareness-raising actions among the general public, children, businesses and local elected officials. These actions are intended to protect marine biodiversity and the natural ecosystem of the coastlines.

Créée en 2018, Wings of the Ocean est la première association de ramassage de déchets sauvages en France.
L’association française agit en faveur de la protection de l’océan, à travers le ramassage de déchets et des actions de sensibilisation auprès du grand public, des enfants, des entreprises et des élus locaux. Ces actions ont vocation à protéger la biodiversité marine et l'écosystème naturel des littoraux.
Depuis sa création, l'association a mené plus de 700 dépollutions, ramassé plus de 99 000 kilos de déchets. Wings of the Ocean encourage et accompagne les initiatives des entreprises comme des particuliers qui s'attèlent à trouver des alternatives à la consommation de plastique.
Pour lutter contre cette pollution océanique, l’association agit sur les littoraux à raison de 3 opérations de dépollution par semaine.
En mission fixe, Wings of the Ocean opère autour de l’étang de Berre, de l’étang de Thau et du Bassin d’Arcachon.
En mission itinérante, une mission à vélo ainsi que 2 navires composent la flotte de l’association : le Kraken, emblème de l’association et le Scylla depuis 2022.
Depuis 2022, l'association est membre du Groupe SOS.
