Created at the end of 2017 and incubated by the Medef Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, a new CAP is an independent think tank dedicated to the territories and fixing itself as an ambition to be a space for reflections producing innovative ideas and freed from any partisan logic, ready to use for action.

CAP publications are based on 3 main areas of work:
- Economic growth oriented towards the competitiveness of all our businesses - VSE/SMEs, ETI and large groups - to promote job creation, individual emancipation and national cohesion
- the development of our territories in a decentralized and plural vision of French success and excellence
- the modernization of public action in order to allow France to have an agile state and local authorities at the service of our fellow citizens and our companiesOriginal language

Créé fin 2017 et incubé par le MEDEF Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur, Nouveau Cap est un think tank indépendant dédié aux territoires et se fixant pour ambition d’être un espace de réflexions producteur d’idées novatrices et affranchies de toute logique partisane, prêtes à l’emploi pour l’action.
Basé à Marseille, profondément ancré dans la réalité des territoires et attaché à leur développement économique, Nouveau Cap réunit des représentants de la société civile issus d’horizons variés. À travers ses publications et ses évènements, ce think tank aspire à contribuer au débat démocratique et à l’amélioration des politiques publiques au service de l’intérêt général en produisant et en diffusant des propositions concrètes à l’ensemble de la société : élus locaux et nationaux, partenaires sociaux, acteurs économiques, associations, monde universitaire, médias, etc.
Les publications de Nouveau Cap reposent sur 3 axes de travail principaux :
- La croissance économique orientée vers la compétitivité de toutes nos entreprises – TPE/PME, ETI et grands groupes – pour favoriser la création d’emplois, l’émancipation individuelle et la cohésion nationale
- Le développement de nos territoires dans une vision décentralisée et plurielle de la réussite et de l’excellence françaises
- La modernisation de l’action publique afin de permettre à la France de se doter d’un État et de collectivités territoriales agiles au service de nos concitoyens et de nos entreprises
