Since 2004, Bordeaux Technowest, the Bordeaux metropolitan area technology park, has been able to create an operating model to support innovative start-ups and drive the metropolis’ strategic sectors (territorial economic development, territorial industrial ecology).

A member of the national network of RETIS technology parks, Bordeaux Technowest has developed original tools for the companies it supports:
Techno’Start: a seed fund dedicated to start-ups in the technology park, with equity investments of €30K to €100K
B’Inc: interest-free loans for project leaders
Jonction: an Open Innovation program (collaborations, factory visits, networking, POC, etc.) for start-ups with 35 industrial partners
Connect: a mentoring program with 7 experts dedicated to accelerating your company
ZIRI: an Industrial and Territorial Ecology (EIT) network launched in 2014 by Bordeaux Technowest, which now includes 100 companies in Bordeaux Métropole representing 3,000 jobs
CESA Drones: a drone test center with a 100 km long-distance flight zone in Hourtin
In 2023, Bordeaux Technowest has supported 88 start-ups and displays a sustainability rate of the companies followed of 86% at 5 years.

La technopole de Bordeaux Métropole
Bordeaux Technowest, la Technopole de la métropole bordelaise, a su créer depuis 2004 un modèle de fonctionnement pour accompagner les start-up innovantes et animer les filières stratégiques de la métropole (développement économique territorial, écologie industrielle territoriale).
Elle rayonne au-delà des frontières administratives de la métropole en s’appuyant des territoires périphériques (Libourne La CALI et La Teste-de-Buch La COBAS) pour se doter d’outils ou de compétences en matière de développement économique ou d’innovations.
Depuis plus de 20 ans, Bordeaux Technowest a contribué à la création de plus de 500 start-up sur le territoire avec le soutien d’une équipe de 7 start-up managers sur 10 sites et 4 filières majeures :
