Afin de remplir cet objectif, l’Institut organise son travail autour de deux axes : la diffusion des droits de l’Homme et la formation à l’éducation aux droits de l’Homme.
DIFFUSER LES DROITS DE L’HOMME
Les interventions de l’Institut international des droits de l’Homme et de la paix proposent une sélection d’activités participatives composées sur mesure qui permettent aux participants d’écouter, de s’exprimer librement, d’appréhender et de respecter l’opinion de l’autre mais aussi, d’agir en équipe. Chaque activité se compose d’un temps d’expérience, individuelle ou collective, et d’un temps essentiel de réflexion et d’évaluation collaborative.
FORMER : CRÉER DES MULTIPLICATEURS
Conscients de l’efficacité et de la pertinence de l’éducation aux droits de l’Homme et à la citoyenneté démocratique dans le développement d’une culture de paix visant au respect des droits de l’Homme, l’Institut organise régulièrement des sessions de formation destinées aux professionnels, organisations de la société civile, enseignants, avocats et magistrats. L’objectif de ces formations est de créer des multiplicateurs capables ensuite de réutiliser la méthode et les outils.
