Mission Handicap de la branche des Entreprises du médicament et association paritaire, HandiEM a pour vocation exclusive l'insertion et le maintien dans l'emploi des personnes en situation de handicap dans ces entreprises.
Recrutement, insertion, maintien dans l’emploi, formation, collaboration avec le Secteur du Travail Protégé et Adapté (STPA), sensibilisation ... sont ses axes de travail actualisés par un accord de branche, signé par le Leem et ses partenaires sociaux, agréé par le ministère du Travail, de l'Emploi et du Dialogue social.
Elle s’appuie sur un réseau de « Référents Handicap », opérationnels dans plus de 250 entreprises de la branche des entreprises du médicament.
Depuis 2010, dans la branche des entreprises du médicament en 2022 :
• Le taux d’emploi direct des personnes handicapées a plus que doublé, passant de 1,35% à 4,20%,
• Plus de 2 560 contrats d’embauche ont déjà été signés,
• Plus de 4 560 demandes de financement ont été traitées, dont près de 70% sont au profit du maintien dans l’emploi,
• Plus de 78 millions d’euros d’achats ont été confiés au Secteur du Travail Protégé et Adapté.
HandiEM reste à ce jour, dans une branche industrielle privée, une des seules associations en France dédiée à l’animation sectorielle des politiques d’emploi des personnes en situation de handicap.
HandiEM fait pousser les initiatives en faveur de l’emploi des personnes handicapées et favorise de nouvelles solidarités.
