Launched in Berlin in 2013 as a heating installer - thermondo is now a key enabler of the heat transition in Germany for existing single- and two-family houses. We have 40,000 customers and employ over 800 permanent employees nationwide, including over 500 tradespeople. We want to make climate-neutral living accessible, affordable and as easy and reliable as possible for every homeowner. With specially developed software and standardized services for changing heating systems, we are a pioneer in the digitalization of the trade and have received several awards for our innovative strength. Since June 2022, we have been enabling around 16 million homeowners across Germany to switch to heat pumps quickly and easily - either to buy or to rent monthly with no acquisition costs. Since 2023, we have also been installing photovoltaic systems. By installing modern heating systems, we have helped save over 800,000 tons of CO2 since 2013.

2013 in Berlin als Heizungsinstallateur gelauncht - ist thermondo heute ein zentraler Möglichmacher der Wärmewende in Deutschland für Ein- und Zweifamilienhäuser im Bestand. Wir haben 40.000 Kund:innen und beschäftigen bundesweit über 800 festangestellte Mitarbeiter:innen, davon über 500 Handwerker:innen. Wir wollen klimaneutrales Wohnen für jede:n Hausbesitzer:in zugänglich, erschwinglich und so einfach und zuverlässig wie möglich machen. Mit eigens entwickelter Software und standardisierten Services rund um den Heizungswechsel sind wir ein Pionier in der Digitalisierung des Handwerks und wurden mehrfach für unsere Innovationskraft ausgezeichnet. Seit Juni 2022 ermöglichen wir rund 16 Millionen Hausbesitzer:innen in ganz Deutschland den schnellen und einfachen Umstieg auf die Wärmepumpe - entweder zum Kauf oder zur monatlichen Miete ohne Anschaffungskosten. Seit 2023 installieren wir auch Photovoltaik-Anlagen. Mit dem Einbau von modernen Heizungsanlagen haben wir seit 2013 dazu beigetragen, über 800.000 Tonnen CO2 einzusparen.
