ALTER EQUITY was the first French management company to offer an investment model in companies whose activity has a positive impact on people or nature and whose management practices are part of a global responsibility.

IMPACT AT TWO LEVELS
The companies in which ALTER EQUITY3P II invests are characterized by:
- their activity: their products or services respond to a major social or environmental issue. In practice, these activities overlap with the UN Sustainable Development Goals ("SDGs"); and
- their management practices: they are committed to a dynamic of progress in terms of social and environmental responsibility in the conduct of business by implementing a dedicated action plan, called an Extra-Financial Business Plan (BPEF).
The second fund raised, ALTER EQUITY3P II, is particularly ambitious in terms of impact, in line with the results of the previous fund:
- 1.6 million tons of CO2 have been avoided since the investments entered the capital thanks to their activity. For comparison, France's annual emissions amount to 450 million tons;
- 92% of the investments in Fund I have met the BPEF objectives at more than 90%; and
- 1/3 of the companies in which the Fund has invested are managed by women, which also seems to us to be a record among French investment funds.
ALTER EQUITY3P II invests in companies in amounts ranging from €1 to €10 million and can structure larger operations with co-investors, up to around €30 million.

IMPACT A DEUX NIVEAUX
Les entreprises dans lesquelles ALTER EQUITY3P II investit se caractérisent par:
- leur activité : leurs produits ou services répondent à un enjeu social ou environnemental majeur. En pratique, ces activités recoupent les Objectifs de Développement Durable (« ODD ») de l’ONU; et
- leurs pratiques de gestion : elles s’engagent dans une dynamique de progrès en matière de responsabilité sociale et environnementale dans la conduite des affaires par la mise en œuvre d’un plan d’action dédié, appelé Business Plan Extra-Financier (BPEF).
Le deuxième fonds levé, ALTER EQUITY3P II, est particulièrement ambitieux en termes d’impact, dans la continuité des résultats du fonds précédent:
- 1,6 million de tonnes de CO2 ont été évitées depuis l’entrée au capital des participations grâce à leur activité. A titre de comparaison, les émissions annuelles de la France s’élèvent à 450 millions de tonnes;
- 92% des participations du fonds I ont respecté les objectifs du BPEF à plus de 90%; et
- 1/3 des entreprises dans lesquelles le Fonds a investi sont dirigées par des femmes, ce qui nous semble également constituer un record parmi les fonds d’investissement français.
ALTER EQUITY3P II investit dans des entreprises des montants de 1 à 10m€ et peut structurer avec des co-investisseurs des opérations plus importantes, jusqu’à 30m€ environ.
