For nearly 40 years, Le FRENCH DESIGN by VIA imagine the future of France’s art de vivre for new generations of people, each one progressively more connected, nomadic and hungry for meaningful and emotional experiences – but also increasingly conscious of their budget and the impact they have on the planet.
VIA was created in 1979 by CODIFAB and the French Ministry for Industry. It aims to develop and promote creation and innovation in the furniture, decoration and private and urban development sectors, both in France and abroad, as part of an open worldwide marketplace that is growing at an annual rate of 7 %.Original language

A travers Le FRENCH DESIGN by VIA, nous souhaitons donner une lisibilité et une visibilité internationales à un écosystème nourri par la France, ses écoles, ses créateurs, ses savoir-faire artisanaux et industriels et son héritage culturel.
A la fois définition, étendard, tribu de professionnels et d’amateurs, exposition, valeurs, films, conférences, réflexion prospective, le FRENCH DESIGN by VIA nous inspire et nous ouvre au monde.
Le FRENCH DESIGN by VIA imagine, depuis près de 40 ans, l’art de vivre à la française de demain pour des générations toujours plus connectées, nomades et en quête de sens et d’émotion, mais qui devront aussi être plus frugales et éco-conscientes.
L’association VIA, créée en 1979 par le CODIFAB et le ministère de l’Industrie, a pour mission de développer et promouvoir la création et l’innovation dans l’ameublement, la décoration et l’aménagement des espaces privés et urbains, tant en France qu’à l’étranger, un marché mondial ouvert et offrant une croissance de 7% par an.
