    Le SYRPIN est né en 1967 sous l’impulsion de quelques entreprises de bureautique et d’informatique de l’époque qui souhaitaient pouvoir mutualiser leurs achats de papier (impression pour le domaine bancaire, cartes perforées...).
    Ce groupement créé sous la forme d’un syndicat professionnel (loi du 21 mars 1884) a fonctionné sans discontinuer depuis cette période sous la forme d’un club de chefs d’entreprises au travers des années 80 et 90.
    A l’aube du nouveau millénaire, le Syrpin a vu son nombre d’adhérents augmenter et son rôle dans l’écosystème (sur les questions de formation et d’emploi notamment) s’affirmer.
    Son fonctionnement actuel est véritablement celui d’un cluster regroupant tous les métiers des PME du numérique de Nouvelle-Aquitaine.
